Group Therapy

"Remember to imagine and craft the worlds you can't live without, just as you dismantle the worlds you can't live within."
- Ruha Benjamin

At Ask Psychotherapy Hub, while we deeply value the power of one-on-one therapy, we also recognize the unique benefits of group therapy. Sometimes, sharing personal concerns in a confidential, moderated space can offer a sense of connection and relief that’s hard to find on your own.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by turmoil, grief, or other big emotions, group therapy provides a safe, supportive space to connect with others who truly understand. You don’t have to face these challenges alone.

Our groups are designed to help you reflect, relate, and connect with like-minded individuals in a calming, compassionate environment. Group therapy is a great complement to individual therapy, or a more accessible option for those wanting to explore shared experiences and gain new insights.

It’s an opportunity to experience the power of community and build deeper understanding of both yourself and others.

HOW GROUP  THERAPY CAN HELP

  • Provide opportunities to connect with others who may share similar experiences.

  • Share coping strategies and insights from individual therapy in a supportive group setting.

  • Gain new perspectives through emotional support from peers facing similar challenges.

  • Explore feelings of shame or past pain in a safe and non-judgmental space

  • Practice self-compassion and gain understanding for your personal growth.

  • Build empathy for yourself and others as you navigate shared experiences.

FIND YOUR PEOPLE AND YOUR VOICE IN OUR THERAPY GROUPS

We’re planning to offer a variety of group therapy sessions in 2025 and would love to hear from you!

As we finalize the group topics and schedules, please let us know what types of groups you’re interested in and your availability.

Groups will be held in person at 1529 Danforth Avenue, with virtual options available when needed.

Take the opportunity to try something new, step out of your comfort zone, and connect with others in a safe, relaxed space—where growth can happen.
