Gestalt Therapy
"Learning is the discovery that something is possible."
- Fritz Perls
At Ask Psychotherapy Hub, we believe meaningful change can begin with becoming more aware of what is happening within you, both in the present moment and within the context of your life. Gestalt therapy invites you to slow down and become curious about your experience, including your thoughts, feelings, what you notice in your body, your needs, and your relationships. While past experiences can be an important part of therapy, we pay attention to how they continue to show up in the present. What are you noticing right now? What are you feeling? What happens between you and another person?
Gestalt therapy is experiential, meaning therapy is not only about talking about your experiences, but also noticing and exploring them as they happen. The work can go deep, creating space to explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped you while staying connected to what is happening in the here and now. Your therapist will work alongside you with curiosity, care, and respect for your individual experience. Over time, greater awareness can create room for something new, helping you recognize your needs, understand your patterns, and find greater freedom in how you relate to yourself, others, and your life.
