About

Emily Duffin

(she/her)

Registered Social Worker Psychotherapist, OCSWSSW

Sometimes you just need to talk with someone who gets it. Change is hard, but it is possible, and it all starts with you, and your unique strengths, goals and insight. In our work together, my role will be to witness, reflect back and help bring greater awareness to aspects of your experience that may be in need of gentle attention or healing. At times, I may bring evidence-based therapeutic techniques into our work, tailored to both your individual style and needs. Together, we will work to collaboratively to bring to life the changes you identify as being most important to you, right now.

Emily Duffin

Emily is a compassionate, warm, and insightful therapist who prioritizes creating an open, supportive space where clients feel safe to explore and grow. She understands the vulnerability of starting therapy, and her own experience as a client shapes the empathy and authenticity she brings to her work.

Trained in CBT, DBT, and IFS, Emily practices from an integrated, client-led, relational approach. She supports clients in processing trauma and mental health challenges so they can reconnect with themselves, their bodies, and the world around them. Her work is grounded in social justice and anti-oppressive values, with a focus on strengthening each client’s resilience and inner resources.

If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you with warmth, curiosity, and genuine care, Emily would be honoured to support you on your healing journey.
