About

Mushfeqa Azam

(she/her)

Registered Social Worker Psychotherapist, OCSWSSW

I help individuals and families navigate trauma, mental health challenges, and everyday stress by creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood. I draw on trauma-informed, evidence-based methods such as DBT, CBT, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, strength-based approaches, and mindfulness, shaping our work together as we explore what supports you most, so you can feel more grounded and develop strategies that fit your life and strengths.

Mushfeqa Azam

Mushfeqa is a registered social worker with a true passion for supporting individuals and families on their journey toward healing and growth. She has extensive experience working with clients impacted by trauma, anxiety, PTSD, autism, and other mental health challenges, offering both expertise and compassion.

Mushfeqa offers a warm, client-centered approach that helps clients feel safe, heard, and accepted, just as they are. She believes that meaningful change starts with a genuine connection, and she meets each person with compassion, curiosity, and respect for their unique journey. Using proven methods like DBT, CBT, and mindfulness, Mushfeqa works collaboratively to help clients build practical tools, navigate challenges, and move towards healing and growth at their own pace. Her goal is to create a space where hope feels possible, and where you don’t have to go through it alone.
