Mushfeqa Azam
(she/her)
Registered Social Worker Psychotherapist (OCSWSSW)
I am a registered social worker with a heartfelt passion for supporting individuals and families on their journeys toward healing and growth. Over the years, I have been privileged to work with families navigating the aftermath of severe trauma, including sexual and family violence, and children facing behavioral and learning challenges. I've also had the opportunity to work with individuals dealing with anxiety, PTSD, autism, borderline personality disorder and other mental health challenges.
Mushfeqa is a registered social worker with a true passion for supporting individuals and families on their journey toward healing and growth. She has extensive experience working with clients impacted by trauma, anxiety, PTSD, autism, and other mental health challenges, offering both expertise and compassion.
Mushfeqa’s approach is warm, client-centered, and deeply empathetic, creating a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can truly be themselves. She is committed to meeting clients where they are, working collaboratively to empower them with the skills and coping mechanisms needed for lasting change. Using a combination of evidence-based methods, such as DBT, CBT, and mindfulness, Mushfeqa tailors her work to each person’s unique needs, fostering a sense of hope and guiding them toward a path of wellness.
